WARNING: This 30min Video Is Probably The Most Valuable Twitter Video You Will Ever Watch.

A marionette or string puppet… moved around with strings that hang from above… one of the more complex types of puppetry… hard to master… can have up to thirty strings…

Ever tried to play around with a puppet? When you don’t know the tricks to use to navigate all the strings, the movements you create can be a right darn mess! Watch this video and let me walk you through the psychological triggers at play on Twitter when you write the perfect tweet.

Pinocchio – a ‘real’ boy?

From the time he knew what it meant to be a ‘real life boy’, Pinocchio wanted to be one.

Pincocchio always wanted to be a real boy.

Pinocchio may be a fictional character, but he learnt an important principle that a lot of people may have yet to grasp — the power of being the one “pulling the strings”, so to speak.

But wanting to become a ‘real boy’ doesn’t come by itself. Pinocchio had to prove himself first. It required his time and investment. And all the lessons he learnt proved worthwhile in the long run. He wouldn’t have succeeded as a real boy otherwise.

Pinocchio definitely got it right. Would you rather be a puppet? Or would you rather be ‘real’?

Are you real?

Twitter is like that. People would rather meet other ‘real people’ online. Depending on your behavior, you can easily be misinterpreted and labeled a spammer or a robot, while you are actually doing as best you know how to bring your marketing online. areyoureal thumb The Pinocchio Secret to Pulling Your Prospects Strings

On Twitter, as on any other form of social media, people want to meet the puppeteers, the “Puppet Masters” –the people behind the scenes, the people who are making waves in the industry, the people who are making things happen, the people in control.

People are silently needing to be led, their strings are there for you, and now its up to you to pull those to your advantage.

Make things happen

I know I’m stating the obvious, but that’s what a ‘real’ Puppet Master does –they are the true operators of puppets. They CONTROL the movement of puppets for their purposes.

In many ways, your prospects are like puppets, like marionettes moved by invisible strings that even they are sometimes unaware of.

You will learn as a Charter Member of the Secret Society of Puppet Masters to discern these strings and masterfully pull them so that they’ll move in the way you want them to.

Handing you money, falling in love with your products, spreading your brand to all their friends.

Sometimes, these strings are hidden from the view of the audience. And sometimes, they’re obvious — but only if you recognize them in their different forms.

Trends. News. Current events.

You’ll hear me say this again. Use the USA Today Secret. Use the Knew/New Method.

You need to learn to tap into the conversation in your prospect’s head. And part of the power of  Twitter is that it’s one giant conversation.

But how do figure out that conversation? And how, in a sea of voices, do you make yourself heard?

The answer is simple. Write the perfect tweet. And draw everyone in.

And write another perfect tweet, and snare their hearts and wallets.

Repeat.

It’s really that simple. With the right knowledge, you can learn to harness the power of compelling tweets, and tap into your power as the Puppet Master.

The video contains some powerful stuff if you take time to internalize it.

In case you have not watched it, I urged you not to be scared off by the length, because this could be the most powerful Twitter marketing video you’ll ever experienced.

I apologize for the meatiness of it in advance, but grab a pen and notebook, lock yourself in for half an hour, and learn the secrets that will help you realize your dreams and get you ahead in the long run.

P.S. The Comments Contest is still on. Do give a comment if this marketing lesson has benefited you and how you can creatively apply these principles to your own business. We’re about to announce the first winner of the Twitter Salvation System. 5 FREE copies to be won.

What a delight, a grand ally who walks the creative edge between business and artistry. Like Donovan said in a prior comment (ahhh – the power of a name – Donovan was one of my all time favorite lyrical balladeers – a true Celtic bard), I am charmed and captured by the power of your story Kenneth – and with how it relates to us all.

I have been getting your emails for a few weeks but only today was lured into opening one by the power of the question – Are you real? I was instantly captivated by the story of that greatest puppet of all time, Pinocchio. I meant to watch a Pinocchio special on TV last night but missed it. I instead relived the story through your post.

As a tranformational talesman, I love the way you weave the myth and metaphor of story (the emotional symbolism that snags the inner part of ourselves) with the revelations we need to tweetly craft our way through life.

In the end, all marketing is about relationship, and all relationship is about story. For those who expressed concern they don’t have the expertise or a product to promote, fear not. Listen to the stories being shared, share your own, resonate with others and they in turn will resonate with you. When you do discover your passion, your gift that you want to share with the world, you will already have a following willing to support and assist you down the line. Because in the end, all each and every one of us really wants is to be deeply seen and heard.

To your success,
Christie

Hey,

Very informative video and it takes time to fully understand the concept.

If ” Tweet ” can grab some business from other ticket brokers , I will

be super happy .

Hi Kenneth!

I was overwhelmed by the length of the video. It was a bit too long. I would advise you next time to give us chunks of 10-15 min. videos if you can, that are easy to digest and easy to remember. Otherwise the message gets lost in too much information and too many things to pay attention to that you start losing focus.

I would advise you also to be a bit assertive in the tone of your voice. Show more firmness and determination. You are a bit hesitant in your speech. Besides that, I think you got great knowledge to impart with us about Twitter and how to generate more leads.

Regards,

Maurice

Hi Kenneth,

I loved the Pinnochio parable, a brilliant pull-together. It really activated my brain, it was looking to make connections and make leaps which was a perfect place to then watch the video from.

I really got a lot out of video, I figured out how to go back over and over certain spots to absorb the information . I think I would have missed much if I let it play right through. I plan on coming back and watching it again. Great insights and teachings in there!

Much of what you mention, I do, but not as cleanly as you outlined. There is much room for “tweetvamping” my tweets.

Thank you for your in-depth analysis of the true “tweet potential”.

Warmly,

Amy

Hi Kenneth,
There is no button to click onto to watch the video. It says to click here……but no active button. I would love to hear your “Puppet Master” tactics.

I will check back with you to see if it gets fixed.

I was interested in watching the video, but like the previous commenter, I was unable to find an active button.

I’m already following you on twitter, so let me know when its fixed.

WOW! Kenneth, you are the maven I have been looking for since I joined Twitter. Your old school + new media approach really, really works!

I told myself that if this stuff really works, it should work on you…That is the ultimate test. So, I tried it out. You re-tweeted my first tweet, because it was part of your C3 mentality, so my tweet furthered your goals on Twitter.

I know, small test and small success compared to how much success you enjoy with Twitter. But it encouraged me that when I put into action the steps you laid down, they actually do work!

Thank you Kenneth! Please pull my strings some more.

PS I am doing a product launch soon, and I am placing Twitter as my foundation. Your whole system will be a guide to help me launch my product through the TwitterSphere and get a lot of buzz, which buzz I will help to bleed off into the non-Twitter arenas.

You basically changed the way I will approach my product launch. And I am grateful for that. Thanks!
