The Puppet Master is Married!
The Puppet Master is married. And he’s a happy, happy man.
The much-anticipated photos are below, but before that, I just want to share something briefly from the heart.
Besides sharing my happiness with you, I want to empower and encourage you as well.
You see, we’re proof that the Internet Lifestyle really does exist. We want to affirm that automated online income is not a pipe dream, even though you’ve probably been burned by baseless hype and snake-oil salespeople before.
But here’s where we differ from all those gurus.
Even though our wedding and honeymoon was financed nearly purely through the power of email and Twitter, we want to let you know it was NOT easy money.
No sirree. For possibilities like this to happen, you need to do something drastic–like stepping out of the boat and walking on water.
Really choppy, stormy water.
In fact, so many times we broke down and cried because we didn’t know how this wedding was going to happen.
For starters, how could we have raised that much money in such a short amount of time?
Not to mention, there were a whole host of other challenges.
From immigration issues to parental doubt to interracial tussles to quitting lucrative jobs so that we could make a stand for what we believed in–it was tough.
We thank God that we held out instead of throwing in the towel, which we were so close to doing many, many times.
I praise God that there was a ‘happily-ever-after’ to this love story.
Let me put it this way — if you examine the people who are making megabucks online, they’re the ones who reached the point of “I must get this to work” desperation. Maxed out with multiple credit card debt and nowhere else to go.
This was the form of desperation that drove us to our success.
Nerve-wrecking? Maybe. Rewarding? Definitely. Infinitely.
If you want to attain the abundant life, you need to reach those intense levels of desperation, too.
Anything less and mediocrity will be your lot.
You need to look at the stormy ocean with its deadly waves, say, “Heck it” and step out of your comfortable boat.
Fortune favors the brave, as they say.
The only way to survive this recession isn’t to do what you’re doing now and hoping that the storms will past… It’s to take drastic measures now and live a recession-proof life–once and for all.
We did, and look where we are.
Of course, no glory to us, but to God who brought us thus far.
Anyway, here are the photos. Enjoy!
(Well wishes welcome in the Comments Section, of course.)

1. "Something borrowed, something blue". The very cute wedding car, a friend's cherished Volkswagen Beetle.

2. The KL Tower. That day, it became the "Kenneth and Laura Tower".

3. (Yes, I was very excited and eagerly awaiting Laura's entrance, as you can tell from my slightly sheepish schoolboy look!)

4. Laura came in looking absolutely radiant...

5. My breathtakingly beautiful bride. Sing it, "...isn't she lovely..?"

6. "One ring to rule her" :p Exchanging the rings... Been waiting for this all my life...

7. The bridal party. True to form, Laura's side was the more international one. (Behind, you can see the famous Twin Towers, which we were overlooking.)

8. The hottest interracial couple in the world is now official

9. The best part - Laura's mom was able to be there for the wedding.

10. Very cleverly crafted, the cake was fashioned after Zimbabwe's wonder, the Victoria Falls.

11. And now... we're walking into happily ever after...

Hi Kenneth & Laura,
I have only known of you for a couple days so far. Landed 5799th follower on twitter. But seriously, interacial marriage is a marriage made in heaven, for I have been married for over 10 years to my lovely Asian wife. But eventhough we’ve separated, I never regret it.
It was a fascinating journey of discovery and definitely adds another dimension to the marriage.
Many people will not even know what it’s like and how much more joy and pleasure it brings.
I can see from the intense smile from Laura, that she is truly greatful that this event has taken place.
May all the years to come, bring you untold happiness and success.
Best Regards,
#5799

There’s a lot more photos but didn’t wanna force them on anyone, lol — you know how, as newlyweds, you are so enthralled in your wedding you think it’s the best thing in the world… which it was
As an update, my handsome groom and ‘tweetheart’ has posted our very short ‘photos-in-motion’ slideshow so in case you haven’t eyeballed it yet…..you can watch it here:

Nice photos.
So, did u really pay the price of 10 Zimbabwean cows for the dowry?
Congratulations! Wishing you many, many happy years together.
Congratulations and Best Wishes!! To God be the glory! You two look radiant. Many Blessings.
Congratulations and may god bless you both. I wish you many happy years together and tons of success for your business.
May your happiest days today be your worst days tomorrow. Congratulations.
My husband and I can also understand the hassle of immigration papers and all that brings. He was Danish and I Canadian. We were married in Denmark and moved to Canada. That was a fairly easy process for Him to come there.
Eight years later we decided to move back to Denmark. YIKES! eight months after that, he died and I have been building a new life here for the last 3 years. Now I have received papers that say I can’t stay. Nightmare upon nightmare.
Sorry, got carried away. The point being is make sure what your rights are IF, and God forbid, something tragic happens to you. Be prepared and know what can happen next.
May you have many successful and happy wonderful years together. But a little knowledge goes a long way.
Hugs to you both.
Nice photos!

I have been impressed with your comments and insight on Twitter…which is an amazing thing as I rarely go on there. You seem to have made a name for yourself . I pray all the best for you and your new wife…and for more success in the future. I’ll be watching you:)
Kenneth & Laura,
May God bless and keep you both in the palm of his hand so you are both safe from harm.
You look so happy. Please, never let anyone steal your happiness away. You already know you’ll have many challenges to face, but your love is strong. You’ll be fine as long as you hold onto eachother and continue to love and believe in one another.
God Bless
